Tier 2 Restrictions

Please see below confirmation from government that Penrith will be in Tier 2 from 2nd December.

To clarify a couple of points, for those of you opening up again after lockdown you will be able to do so from 00.01 on 2nd December – e.g. you can open your shop to customers from the Wednesday morning.

For those hospitality businesses forced to shut (e.g. pubs who do not serve a substantial meal) I am still waiting for clarification from government on any additional financial support. I have written to the Cabinet Office and will forward their response.

Please do get in touch if you have any other concerns you would like assistance with, or if you would like to talk through any queries or questions about reopening.

Cabinet Office Update

Please see today’s key updates which cover the tiers from 00.01 on 2 December and associated links, posters and videos for working safely.
