Christmas Lights a Success and Cabinet Office news

It feels wonderful to be able to write to you with two positive updates tonight. The Cabinet Office update about the PM’s Winter Plan is shown below, but first I hope you all enjoyed our Online Christmas Lights Switch On. If you’ve not seen it yet, you can view the video at https://www.discoverpenrith.co.uk/christmas/
We have had over 28,000 views so far and the local community is really grateful that we went ahead with the lights – if you’re on Facebook I’d encourage you to read some of the heartwarming comments. I’ll now be working hard to persuade people to #ShopLocal #ShopPenrith and support all of you in the run up to Christmas and beyond. If you have an offer or promotion you want to promote, don’t forget you can add it to your Discover Penrith webpage, and email or DM the details to me to share to our social media feeds.
